Games written with Unity or RenPy are cross-platform only thanks to the engines themselves following the code principle called "write anywhere, compile for everything". You may not know, but Apple can give you a fine jail time if you develop for Macintosh via emulator on Windows or Linux PC, because their EULA requires you to buy a "real" computer from them to develop on.

You pay 2 times more money for a piece of pecking outdated hardware, without neck of compatibility with vast majority of software out there and, most importantly, with worst 3rd-party developer tools available. I updated the exe in Parallels before copying it back into the correct place inside the Wineskin wrapper.I have no sympathy for owners of Macintosh. The patch comes with most of the MOD packages as standard. Oh and you'll need to update the foc.exe with the 4GB patch in a Windows environment otherwise the game will crash if you have over 2GB of Ram. bat file using textedit to make sure the file path is correct. It's all to do with setting the target file mode to the.bat file used to start the required mod AND editing said. More importantly, earlier this evening I successfully got the Thrawn's Revenge and Empire at War Remake Mods to work too using the Wineskin advanced menu options. I know that OS Catalina however may be an issue due to dropping 32 bit support but I use High Sierra on a 2011 iMac and it runs perfectly. Rick Hi there, GOG version of EAW gold pack works perfectly using a Wineskin wrapper made from The Porting Kit on a Mac. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know for sure whether or not it is even possible? I'd like to know before I download the update from GOG. I have found guidance on porting the base game to Mac using Wineskin, etc., and instruction on how to install mods on a PC, but I haven't yet found anything on whether it is even possible to add mods to a PC native program that has been fooled into running on a Mac. I would like to download the GOG EAW package to my Mac and then install the Remake mod (and/or others).

I thought that was as good as it could get on a Mac. I love EAW and have spent many hours of COVID lockdown alternately blasting rebel scum or bringing freedom to the galaxy, all on the original 2006 Aspyr Mac release. Rickshaw50: Newbie here, so please forgive me if I'm being particularly clueless, but here's my issue.
